Islamabad, Murtaza Solangi, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, emphasized Pakistan’s commitment as a responsible nation to guarantee that all foreigners enter the country through legal avenues. This statement was delivered during a meeting with a delegation of Afghan journalists in Islamabad.

According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Solangi stressed the importance of effective border management and security as a mutual interest for both Pakistan and Afghanistan. He further highlighted the intertwined relationship between the peace in Pakistan and its neighbouring country, Afghanistan. The session addressed the challenges faced by Afghan journalists, particularly concerning visa-related matters. In response to the raised concerns, Solangi ensured that the Ministry of Interior and Foreign Affairs would be approached to address the visa issues of the Afghan journalistic community.
