Sohbatpur, A key meeting of NGOs active in Sohbatpur district was held under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Farida Tareen, who called for a more expansive approach to local development projects beyond current efforts.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Tareen praised the NGOs for their awareness efforts regarding ongoing development but stressed the importance of addressing broader needs essential for the community’s welfare. She highlighted the district’s recovery from the devastating 2022 floods, recognizing the critical role played by both government and non-governmental organizations in the ongoing rehabilitation efforts. Tareen encouraged the NGOs to initiate projects that not only meet the immediate needs of the residents but also foster long-term prosperity and self-sufficiency within the community.
