Sohbatpur Deputy Commissioner Calls for Action on Kashmir Exploitation Day

Sohbatpur: During a rally held on Kashmir Exploitation Day, Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur Farida Tareen emphasized the need for international intervention to address the ongoing human rights violations in Kashmir, highlighting the systematic denial of Kashmiri rights by India.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the rally, overseen by Deputy Commissioner Tareen, SSP Ghulam Hussain, and other district leaders, drew significant participation and featured calls for Kashmiri freedom and the acknowledgment of their rights. Tareen strongly criticized India’s actions on August 5, when the rights of Kashmiris were substantially altered, and underscored the critical role of international organizations in ensuring these rights.

Deputy Commissioner Tareen articulated the stance of the Pakistani nation against what she described as the illegal and unconstitutional occupation of Kashmir by India, stating that Pakistan has consistently supported the Kashmiri people politically, diplomatically, and morally. She reiterated the importance of the United Nations’ role in enforcing its resolutions concerning Kashmir and stressed that peace in the region hinges on recognizing Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

The event served not only as a demonstration of solidarity but also as a platform to voice the ongoing struggles faced by the Kashmiri people and the need for a global response to ensure their rights and freedoms.
