Sixteen Indian soldiers killed in Sikkim road accident

New Delhi, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):At least sixteen Indian army personnel including three Junior Commissioned Officers were killed and four other soldiers were injured in a road accident in Indian state of Sikkim. The incident occurred when an Indian army truck slipped down the slope while negotiating a sharp turn in Zema area of the state. The army vehicle was part of a three-vehicle convoy that had moved from Chatten Thangu and was on its way to Zema.
