Peshawar: Six militants were killed in two separate engagements by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province during the night of November 3-4. These operations were part of ongoing efforts to secure the region from militant activities.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in the Dosali area of North Waziristan District. During the operation, security forces effectively targeted the militants’ location, resulting in the death of one militant identified as Ahmed Shah, also known as Intizar.
In a separate incident, a group of militants attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was detected by security forces in the Khamrang area of South Waziristan District. The troops engaged the group, thwarting their infiltration attempt. As a result, five militants were killed, and three were injured.
Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Interim Afghan Government to ensure effective border management on their side to prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan. The expectation remains for the Afghan Government to fulfill its obligations in this regard.
