Peshawar: A heavy spell of rain, storms, and lightning has resulted in significant loss of life and property across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported. The recent weather events have led to the deaths of six individuals and injuries to five others since Friday.
The affected districts include Mansehra, Bunir, Dir Lower and Upper, Kohistan, and Malakand. In these areas, a total of seven houses were reported damaged, with five partially affected and two completely demolished.
The PDMA has instructed local district administrations to expedite relief efforts, ensuring that affected families receive necessary support and that injured individuals have access to adequate medical care.
