Brussels, November 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):A sit-in protest was held in Brussels against the Indian brutalities especially the recent cold-blooded murders of the civilians in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The protest was organized by the Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) in front of the central offices of European institutions including the EU External Action Service and European Commission in the Belgian capital.
Participants of the protest were holding pictures of the children and women of the victims of the Indian brutalities and youth who were targeted in extrajudicial actions of the Indian occupational forces. The protesters also raised the placards having slogans in favour of the people of Kashmir and against Indian atrocities in the occupied territory.
On the occasion, the KCEU Chairman, Ali Raza Syed, said, “We strongly condemn violations of human rights including killings of the civilians in occupied Kashmir.” He said, a doctor and three traders were killed in a recent cold-blooded murder in Hyderpora area of Srinagar which is a brutal example of Indian state terrorism in IIOJK.
Ali Raza Syed said, we shall constantly raise our voice in the European institutions against the human rights violations in the occupied territory. He asked the international community not to be silent on genocide of the innocent people in IIOJK. The KCEU Chairman maintained that the international community specifically the EU and the UN should come forward to stop human rights violations in the occupied territory and play their role for just resolution of Kashmir dispute.
