Sindh Prepares for Pakistan Defense Day with Solemn Tributes to Martyrs

Karachi: In a meeting led by Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah at the Chief Minister House, plans were laid out for the observance of Pakistan Defense Day on September 6. The event, directed by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, aims to honor the sacrifices made by the nation’s soldiers during the 1965 conflict with India.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the meeting saw participation from various officials including Sohail Qureshi. It was unanimously decided that the day will be marked with high levels of devotion, enthusiasm, and passion throughout the province. Provincial Minister Nasir Shah recounted the bravery displayed by Pakistani forces on September 6, 1965, in thwarting an Indian attack, emphasizing the sacrifices made by soldiers to safeguard the country. He announced that there will be province-wide programs to commemorate the martyrs, recognizing them and their families as national treasures and expressing profound respect and tribute to them on this solemn occasion.

The observance of Defense Day serves not only as a remembrance of military valor but also as a tribute to those who laid down their lives for the nation’s security and sovereignty.
