Karachi, In a significant advancement towards digital transformation, the Sindh Police have launched the E-Sheet application, as formally approved by the Inspector General of Police Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar Raja. This application is set to revolutionize the administrative procedures within the Sindh Police, streamlining various processes including appointments, transfers, postings, and disciplinary actions.
According to Sindh Police, the introduction of the E-Sheet application was announced during a meeting led by IG Sindh Riffat Mukhtar Raja. DIGP Establishment Sindh, Syed Pir Mohammad Shah, presented the modern and user-friendly aspects of the application, designed to address the challenges faced by police personnel, particularly those in remote areas. The application aims to eliminate the necessity for physical office visits for administrative tasks.
Initially implemented in the South Zone and SSU during its trial phase, the E-Sheet application demonstrated remarkable success, resolving 90% of administrative issues. Following this success, the application is now extended for use by police personnel across Sindh.
The E-Sheet application boasts several key features, including an automatic system for updating the status of complaints, a tracking option, digitization of staff data, and WhatsApp-like communication facilities for district officers and their teams. These features are expected to enhance communication and operational efficiency within the police force.
A comprehensive training program is also in the works, starting with 500 staff members focusing on HRMIS, followed by extended training for all police personnel. IG Sindh Riffat Mukhtar Raja underscored the application’s potential to harmonize administrative systems and improve performance across field and office duties.
The E-Sheet application is now available for download on Google and iOS platforms, marking a new era of digital accessibility for the Sindh Police.
The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including Additional IG Karachi, Additional IG Special Branch, DIGs of various departments, Zonal DIGs, District SSPs of Karachi, and other concerned officers, some of whom participated via video link. This innovative initiative is expected to significantly improve administrative processes within the Sindh Police.
