Sindh Police Holds Ceremony to Honor Families of Fallen Officers with Financial Support


Karachi, In a solemn tribute to the valor of its fallen heroes, the Sindh Police conducted a ceremony to distribute financial aid to the families of police martyrs, recognizing their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event, marked by the distribution of Shaheed Meraat checks, underscored the department’s commitment to supporting the bereaved families.



According to Sindh Police, the ceremony took place at the Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Auditorium CPO, with IG Sindh Rafat Mokhtarraja and CPLC Chief Zabir Habib in attendance as special guests. Financial aid, amounting to Rs. 1 crore each for four families and Rs. 1 million for another, was distributed to the families of Constables Ghulam Abbas and Muhammad Saeed Ahmed, as well as Head Constables Abdul Hakeem Khan and Rehmatullah, all of whom served with distinction in various capacities within the Karachi Police.



IG Sindh Rafat Mokhtarraja emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the Sindh Police, describing them as assets and beacons for the force. He reaffirmed the department’s responsibility to support the heirs of the fallen officers, including providing education, training, and employment opportunities for their children.



The ceremony highlighted the Sindh Police’s priority to resolve any issues faced by the martyr’s families promptly and to take all necessary steps to ensure their well-being. Mokhtarraja assured the families that they are never alone and are an integral part of the Sindh Police family, promising continued support and encouragement from the department.



The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the DIG Headquarters Sindh, DIG Establishment, DIG Welfare Sindh, and AIGs Welfare, Operations, and Admin, demonstrating the collective commitment of the Sindh Police to stand by the families of their martyred colleagues.
