Karachi, In a police encounter on November 18 in Kashmore, Constable Mir Dost Jakhrani of the Sindh Police sustained serious injuries. He was initially taken to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan for immediate medical care. Following orders from IG Sindh, Constable Jakhrani was transferred to Aga Khan Hospital Karachi via air ambulance last night for specialized treatment.
According to the Director Press, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja has personally overseen the treatment of Constable Jakhrani, ensuring that a dedicated team of doctors is providing the necessary medical care. IG Raja expressed his profound respect for the bravery and sacrifice of Sindh Police officers, referring to the injured and fallen as ‘Ghazis’ and ‘martyrs.’ He emphasized that the success in the ongoing war against crime is a testament to their courage and dedication.
IG Raja reassured police officers and young men in the force that they are not alone in their endeavors. He stated that the welfare of Sindh Police Department employees is among his top priorities. Further, he is committed to taking care of the families of Ghazis and martyrs, addressing critical needs such as education and health.
