Sindh Ministry of Energy Pledges Full Support for IEEEP Fair, Highlights Collaboration and Economic Growth

Karachi: The Minister of Energy for the Government of Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, emphasized the provincial government’s full commitment to the upcoming IEEEP Fair during its inauguration ceremony. The minister detailed the collaborative efforts between various departments to ensure the event’s success and foster significant economic partnerships.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, Minister Shah stated, “We will work closely along with our support departments in the ministries of Investment, Planning, and Development to ensure robust participation and engagement during the 3 days of the fair.” He highlighted the fair as a key opportunity for business-to-government interactions and a platform to drive growth in the energy sector. The minister also mentioned that his presence at the fair underscores the provincial government’s dedication to facilitating these crucial interactions.

During the fair, departments under Minister Shah’s purview are set to engage with both international and local visitors and exhibitors. “This initiative aims to showcase our ongoing and upcoming projects across both rural and urban Sindh, inviting investment and fostering joint ventures and partnerships that will contribute significantly to our economic development,” Shah added.

The minister praised the IEEEP for its role in organizing the event and acknowledged Badar Expo Solutions for their years of dedicated support. Chief Executive of TDAP, Zubair Motiwala, also spoke at the occasion, noting the evolution of the IEEEP Fair into a broad-based platform for showcasing innovations and fostering economic growth beyond just meeting the country’s energy needs. Motiwala welcomed the engagement of various public sector organizations which he said would help bridge the industry-government gap.

The fair is expected to attract procurement teams from diverse sectors including construction, hospitals, textiles, hospitality, and academic institutions, highlighting its importance as a hub for industry-wide interaction and collaboration.
