Mirpurkhas, September 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani on 3 day visits of Mirpurkhas district and talukas including affected areas/villages today and last night visited and personally inspected the rain and flood affected areas and various union councils in Mirpurkhas District Shujaabad, Kot Ghulam Muhammad Taluka, Digra Taluka and Mirwah Gurchani. Former Chairman Mir Anwar Khan Talpar, Member of Sindh Assembly Mir Tariq Talpar, Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah, DC Mirpurkhas Zainul Abidin Memon and others were also with him.
On the other hand, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani along with Member Sindh Assembly Syed Zulfikar Shah visited various villages of Taluka Shujaabad and reviewed the relief operations of the flood affecties. Mir Hasan Dhonkai, Abdul Salam Memon, Mir Ali Raza Tagar, Member District Council Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah Yusi Khabarwani and people from different areas were present on this occasion.
He informed the provincial minister about the situation since the rains and said that despite the passage of more than 15 days, the water has not been removed due to which he is facing serious problems. The provincial minister assured them that the district administration and the Sindh government are taking steps in this regard and, steps will be taken to drain the water and rehabilitate the affectees and the problems of the people will end soon.
Sindh Provincial Labour Minister Saeed Ghani also visited various rain-affected villages including village barji, Shujaabad Taluk, Mirpurkhas District. MPA Syed Zulfikar Shah, Mir Hasan Dhonkai, Abdul Salam Memon, Mir Ali Raza Taggar, Member District Council Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah Yusi Bhardi and the residents of the village were also with him. The residents of Garhor informed the provincial minister about the situation after the rains and said that after the rains, many villages of the taluka have come under water and the Sindh government should make efforts to help them.
Provincial Labour Minister Saeed Ghani also reached Roshanabad of Mirpurkhas district. The provincial minister was accompanied by MPA Mir Tariq, District Chairman Nawabzada Mir Anwar Ali Khan, Nawabzada Mir Shah Din, Nawabzada Mirullah Dad and others. The provincial minister also met the thousands of rain affected who were displaced due to the accumulated water in Roshanabad.
Later, the provincial minister also inspected the LBOD route to Naukot, the provincial minister was told that due to the daily increase in water, there is a possibility of blocking the important highways of other areas. The provincial minister gave instructions. The officials of the irrigation department continued their talk and said that the flow of water should be stopped and their embankments should be strengthened. Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani visited different villages of Mirpurkhas and the post-rainfall situation. Took a detailed briefing about the damages and then left for Karachi.
