Sindh Governor Visits Russian Consulate, Expresses Condolences for Moscow Tragedy


Karachi, In a solemn visit to the Consulate of the Russian Federation, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri offered his condolences for the victims of a recent tragedy in Moscow. During his visit, Governor Tesuri signed the condolence book and engaged in discussions with the Russian Consul General Andrey Federov, condemning the incident and expressing solidarity with the people and government of the Russian Federation.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri articulated a strong condemnation of the act of terrorism that led to the loss of innocent lives in Moscow. He emphasized that terrorists, who aim to disrupt societies by targeting non-combatants for their malevolent objectives, represent a significant threat to global peace and security. The governor expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and extended his condolences to President Vladimir Putin and the people of Russia, underscoring the shared pain and understanding stemming from Pakistan’s own experiences with terrorism.



During a media interaction alongside Consul General Federov, Governor Tesuri reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of the tragedy and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. He highlighted the visit as a gesture of solidarity, reflecting Pakistan’s empathy towards the Russian people, having faced similar challenges. Consul General Federov expressed his appreciation for the governor’s visit, noting it as a symbol of the strong support from the people of Pakistan in these trying times.
