Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori visited the Pakistan Consulate in Mashhad, where he discussed various issues concerning Pakistanis living in Iran, including the provision of better facilities for pilgrims and other mutual interests.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori was welcomed by Consul General Muhammad Shehryar Khan upon his arrival at the consulate. The meeting focused on finding solutions to the problems faced by the Pakistani community in Iran and improving the conditions for pilgrims traveling to the country.
Governor Tesori emphasized the need for prompt action to address the concerns of the Pakistani community in Iran. He directed the relevant authorities to take necessary steps to resolve these issues as soon as possible. The Governor also took the opportunity to record his comments in the guest book at the consulate, marking his visit.
This visit underscores the Sindh Governor’s commitment to addressing the needs and improving the experiences of Pakistanis abroad, particularly in Iran where a significant number of pilgrims travel each year.
Islamabad, The Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent breach of Pakistan’s airspace by Iran, describing the missile attack into Pakistani territory as an irresponsible act and a violation of national security. Ashraf stated that any breach of Pakistan’s border limits is unacceptable under any circumstances, emphasizing the severity of the incident.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Ashraf highlighted that while Pakistan is a peaceful nation and prioritizes friendly relations with neighboring countries, including Iran, it will not tolerate violations of its borders. He affirmed Pakistan’s policy of non-aggression but also asserted the country’s right to retaliate against any threats to its sovereignty.
The Speaker also expressed his deep sorrow and regret over the loss of human lives resulting from the missile attack. He conveyed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the families affected by this incident, underlining the human cost of such aggressive actions.
