Karachi, In a personal visit to the residence of street crime victim Tarab Zahidi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri expressed condolences and offered support, emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced security measures in Karachi.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri met with Tarab’s father, Nisar Zahidi, to whom he expressed his condolences. During the visit, he assured the family of efforts to arrest the perpetrators and also pledged to cover the educational expenses of Tarab’s children and the rent for the family’s flat. Governor Tesuri, reflecting on his connection to the city rather than his official capacity, also offered prayers for the deceased and his family.

Further addressing the media, Governor Tesuri highlighted the ongoing issue of street crime in Karachi, stressing the need for immediate action to apprehend and punish the criminals involved. He proposed the installation of more surveillance cameras and increased patrolling to monitor and deter miscreants actively. The governor remarked on the tragedy of such frequent incidents in Pakistan’s economic hub and vowed to continue advocating for effective crime prevention strategies.
