Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori met with Sri Lankan Parliamentarian Mr. Namal Rajapaksa and his delegation at Governor House to discuss strengthening Pakistan-Sri Lanka relations, cooperation in various sectors, and investment opportunities in Sindh.
According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting, which also included Senator Salim Mandviwala, centered on enhancing economic ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Governor Tesori emphasized the mutual benefits of increased economic collaboration, highlighting significant investment prospects in Sindh’s health, education, energy, and other sectors. He also mentioned the potential for cooperation in the agricultural sector, which could be advantageous for both countries.
During the meeting, Governor Tesori presented the members of the Sri Lankan delegation with traditional Sindhi caps and ajraks, showcasing the rich culture of the province. The visit concluded with a lunch hosted by the Governor of Sindh for the delegation members. This meeting underscores the ongoing efforts to deepen the relationship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, focusing on economic partnerships and cultural exchanges.
