Karachi: The inaugural Hub Rally Autocross Race was held in Karachi on Thursday, marking the event’s expansion from Balochistan to Karachi at the behest of Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori. The governor, speaking at the closing ceremony in DHA City, lauded the successful organization of the race and confirmed its establishment as an annual event in the city.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori highlighted the race’s introduction to Karachi following his encouragement to organizers during a similar event in Balochistan. The ceremony, attended by the Consul General of Japan and rally organizers, saw the governor personally inspect the race track, expressing satisfaction with the arrangements provided by DHA City. He also took a ceremonial drive on the track, commending a participant for an excellent drive.
The event concluded with Governor Tesori distributing prizes to the winners. A total of 65 participants from across the country competed in the race, including two women, showcasing the event’s national appeal and inclusive nature.
