Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesuri, emphasized the pivotal role of highly educated youth in the nation’s future during the 32nd Annual Certificate Distribution Ceremony at the University of Karachi. He highlighted the significant contributions of recent graduates to various fields, both nationally and internationally, and expressed high expectations for their role in stabilizing and strengthening the country’s economy.
According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony was attended by notable academic figures including the Chairman of the Sindh Higher Education Commission, Professor Dr. Tariq Rafi, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi, Professor Dr. Khalid Iraqi, along with professors, teachers, and the parents of students. Governor Tesuri praised the hard work of the faculty and encouraged the students to acknowledge the efforts of their teachers and parents.
He stressed the importance of women’s active involvement in all societal aspects for true national development and addressed the critical role of social media in shaping public opinion about national institutions like the military. The Governor also highlighted initiatives such as free IT courses at the Governor’s House, which have enabled students to earn significant incomes, as a model for advancing Pakistan’s stance in the IT sector. During the event, Governor Tesuri awarded degrees to 15,341 students from the graduation years 2021 and 2022.
