Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori Receives Ethiopia’s Highest Honor for Diplomatic Contributions

Karachi: In a significant diplomatic event, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori was presented with Ethiopia’s highest honor during the Ethiopian Culture Show at the Governor’s House. The award recognizes his pivotal role in fostering strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Ethiopia.

According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony saw the Ethio-Pak Fraternity Award bestowed upon Governor Tesori by Ethiopian Ambassador/Special Envoy Dr. Jamal Baker. The ambassador commended Governor Tesori for his exceptional efforts in promoting bilateral public relations, which have significantly contributed to the stabilization of ties between the two nations. Dr. Baker highlighted the governor’s instrumental role in the initiation of Ethiopian Airlines services to Pakistan, marking a key development in travel and trade facilitation between Ethiopia and Pakistan.

In his acceptance remarks, Governor Tesori expressed gratitude towards Ambassador Baker and the people of Ethiopia. He reflected on the strengthened state of Pakistan-Ethiopia relations, which he described as very stable, attributing this success to continuous and concerted diplomatic efforts.
