In the grand opening ceremony of the Global Cup organized by the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association at the Governor House, well-known cricketers, Javed Miandad, Musbah ul Haq, Moin Khan, Muhammad Sami, players of various foreign teams participating in the event, dignitaries from the city and representatives of the media, while addressing the opening ceremony of the Over 40s Cricket Global Cup, 2023, Governor Sindh said that in this event I welcome the participants of Pride of Pakistan Javed Miandad, Moin Khan, Muhammad Sami and the players and distinguished guests from abroad to the Governor House. Such an event is a good attempt to show the positive face of Pakistan to the world. It is a matter of pride and honor that the tournament is being held in five arenas of Karachi.

I would like to say that those who are taking steps to ensure the safety of this event and especially our foreign guests, it is a matter of pride for me and the Pakistani nation that today we have an over 60 team led by Fawad Ijaz Khan. have been. who won the Over 60 World Cup in Australia last year, for which I congratulate all of them. I wish that more such tournaments are organized so that the soft image of my country is highlighted in front of the world. Governor Sindh said that Whatever the work may be, it cannot be completed without good intentions. We should all contribute to the good work.

We want to do good work, but problems are created. We have become everything, but we have not become good Pakistanis. We all have to give honor to this country, if we have to do something, we have to do it for our Pakistan. which include teams from Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, Canada, USA, UAE, Hong Kong and Nepal. 36 matches of Over s40 Cricket Global Cup will be played in 05 different grounds of Karachi. The match will be played at Stadium Karachi which will be telecast live on PTV Sports.
