Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori Focuses on Addressing Bohri Bazaar’s Challenges


Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori visited Bohri Bazar to gain insight into the community’s challenges and pledged to address their concerns. In a media talk following his visit, Governor Tesori reflected on his connection with the area and its people.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori acknowledged the community’s adherence to the teachings of Syedna Musafal Sahib and the century-long business heritage in Bohri Bazar. He recalled his childhood memories associated with the area, particularly its enduring culinary offerings. He was made aware of various issues faced by the locals, particularly the consistent problem of inadequate electricity supply.



Governor Tesori mentioned his interaction with Mansoor Jack, a local colonel, who brought to light the electricity issues at Dawood Mosque. Tesori informed that he has initiated communication with Monis Alvi of K Electric to address this concern. Additionally, he expressed his intention to involve the Mayor of Karachi in resolving issues related to encroachment and parking in the area.



Responding to a question, the Governor emphasized his deep spiritual connection with the Bohra community and Sayyedna Musafal, considering him a paramount spiritual figure of the era. He announced the establishment of a dedicated desk for the Bohra community at the Governor House this year, acknowledging their significant role in Pakistan’s economic development and the trust they garner from the public.



Governor Tesori expressed his gratitude to the Bohra community for their contributions and affirmed his commitment to alleviating their problems and regularly visiting the area to ensure progress.
