Karachi, March 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori distributed civil awards to 28 people from different walks of life. In this regard, a simple and dignified ceremony was held in the Governor’s House. The duties of which were organized by Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Sohail Rajput. Provincial secretaries and people from different walks of life participated in the event. Governor of Sindh awarded Star of Distinction to 7 persons, Presidential Medal of Excellence to 7 persons and Medal of Distinction to 14 persons.
Governor Sindh conferred the Starara Imtiaz on Prof. Dr. Engineer Bhawani Shankar Choudhary, Muhammad Asif Peer, Hasan Ali Isfahani alias Hasan Jahangir, Aneeq Ahmed, Syed Manzar Hasan alias Hasan Manzar, Dr. Moinuddin Aqeel and Naseer Turabi (deceased). Sindh Governor presented Presidential Award for Good Performance to Dr. Mehboob Ali Syal, Anwar Hussain Wastro, Ustad Abdullah Khan, Anjum Ayaz, RM Naeem (Muhammad Naeem), Sain Dad and Master Altaf Hussain (late).
While Farah Naz Qamar, Noor Jahan Bilgrami, Muhammad Iqbal Latif, Muhammad Hanif alias Hanif Shehzad, Zulfiqar Sial, Muhammad Owais Qadri, Ajay Lalwani (deceased), Muhammad Arif Khan (deceased), Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Dewan, Fawad Hamid Ahmed, Khalid Mahmood, Yaqoob Ali Zamindar and Amin Hashwani were awarded the Medal of Distinction.
