Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori Attends Jamia Banuria Alamiya’s Khatam Bukhari Ceremony


Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori participated in the Khatam Bukhari ceremony at Jamia Banuria Alamiya, an event that marks the completion of the study of Sahih Bukhari by Islamic scholars. The ceremony, a significant spiritual event in the Islamic academic calendar, was also attended by various ambassadors, scholars, and foreign dignitaries.



According to Sindh Governor House, the event was graced by the presence of Mahatma Maulana Nooman Naeem and Naib Mahatmam Maulana Farhan Naeem, who welcomed Governor Tesori. Mufti Abdul Rahim, along with other speakers, paid tribute to the Governor for his welfare work. The governor emphasized the spiritual rejuvenation he experienced at the event and congratulated the organizers for successfully conducting the ceremony.



Governor Tesori remarked on the importance of unity and education in Pakistan’s development, advocating for a unified nation and educational system to address the country’s challenges. He stressed that being good citizens could lead to an improved system of governance and societal harmony.



The governor reflected on the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah discussed during the event and highlighted the need for accessible education for all. Despite a significant budget allocation, he pointed out the persistent problems stemming from sectarian and national divisions within the country.



Governor Tesori’s participation in the Khatam Bukhari ceremony and his address underscored the importance of religious education and the role of spiritual events in promoting unity and social welfare in Pakistan.
