Karachi: In a significant show of support, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has announced that the Governor House has awarded gifts valued at over 10 crores to Arshad Nadeem, a national hero, to acknowledge his contributions. The governor also invited talented athletes lacking resources to come to the Governor House for support.
According to Sindh Governor House, during a press conference, Governor Tesori highlighted the national unity brought about by Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem’s victory. He remarked that Nadeem’s success had a unifying effect on the nation, emphasizing that such achievements should be linked to economic progress to eradicate longstanding animosities. The governor detailed the overwhelming public response, noting that crowds had gathered at the Governor House to celebrate Nadeem’s victory, reflecting a nationwide endorsement of his accomplishments.
Governor Tesori also announced the distribution of 100 laptops to IT students as part of the Governor’s Initiative, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to education and technology. He expressed gratitude towards local leaders and law enforcement for ensuring the safety of the large gatherings that took place to honor Nadeem.
Arshad Nadeem, in response, expressed deep appreciation for the governor’s support and the affection he received from the public. He pledged to continue striving for excellence in his field, motivated by the love and respect shown by his fellow citizens.
