Sindh Governor Initiates Construction of New Flats for Governor House Staff


Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has officially commenced the construction of new flats within the Governor House Staff Colony, aiming to provide improved housing for the employees. A total of 48 flats are slated for construction over the next two years, marking a significant development project under the governor’s administration.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori, while addressing the media, expressed his desire to implement projects that would leave a lasting impact. He mentioned overcoming legal hurdles, such as the removal of a stay order that had previously stalled the plot’s development, and highlighted recent renovations within the Governor House after 16 years. Tesori shared his gratitude for the opportunity to undertake such initiatives, including the construction of an annexe in Islamabad.



On the topic of political dialogue and economic stability, Governor Tesori underscored the importance of accepting the coordination committee’s principal position to foster ongoing discussions and cooperation. He acknowledged the committee’s trust in his leadership, emphasizing the critical need for economic stability and collaborative governance in the country.



Reflecting on his tenure, Tesori, who has been dubbed the “Public Governor,” emphasized his commitment to welfare measures and ensuring employment for the populace. He also shared his ambition to organize iftar for 1 million people if given the chance, showcasing his dedication to serving the community.



In response to inquiries about political processes, the governor mentioned the People’s Party’s outreach concerning the election of the Chief Minister, hinting at ongoing political negotiations and collaboration within the province’s leadership landscape.



This initiative not only aims to enhance the living conditions of Governor House employees but also reflects Governor Tesori’s broader vision for social welfare and political cooperation in Sindh.
