Sindh Governor Highlights Strong Pakistan-US Relations at Alumni Network Event

Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori underscored the robust bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United States during an event hosted by the Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN) at the Governor House. The event, attended by PUAN Karachi Chapter President Dr. Farhan Isa and other members, served as a platform to discuss the multifaceted relationship between the two nations.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori welcomed participants to the historic ballroom of the Governor House, where he emphasized that the Pakistan-US relationship is anchored in shared values and mutual respect. He highlighted the strong connections in trade, education, and diplomacy, noting that the United States is one of Pakistan’s major trading partners with a bilateral trade volume reaching $6 billion.

Governor Tesori pointed out the beneficial economic partnerships and the pivotal role of the Pakistan US Alumni Network in fostering public relations between the two countries. He shared insights from his eighteen months in office, detailing initiatives aimed at addressing public issues, including efforts to combat street crime and support for victims.

The Governor also reflected on international relations and national development, invoking the value of land and national development through collective effort. He expressed readiness to support scholarships abroad, emphasizing the potential for development if collective action is undertaken.

Governor Tesori’s remarks highlighted the importance of international alumni networks in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties and called for continued collaboration and contribution from all sectors to drive national progress.
