Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the significant role of scholars in fostering religious harmony during the Islamic month of Muharram. His remarks came during a discussion with Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani at Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi.

According to Sindh Governor House, the meeting focused on promoting peace among various religious communities. Governor Tesori praised the efforts of Ulemas in enhancing unity and addressing the broader challenges faced by the nation. The dialogue with Maulana Usmani also touched upon the scholars’ responsibilities in spreading Islamic teachings from the Mihrab and Minbar.

During his visit to Jamia Darul Uloom, where he was welcomed by Mufti Dr. Nauman Naeem, Governor Tesori and Maulana Usmani also prayed for the nation’s development and prosperity.
