Karachi: Sindh Governor and Chancellor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the critical role of highly educated youth in shaping Pakistan’s future during the 33rd Annual Certificate Distribution Meeting at Jamia NED. At the event, which saw participation from Vice Chancellor Professor Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi, deans, teachers, and parents, Governor Tesori underscored his high expectations from the younger generation and distributed certificates to successful students.
According to Sindh Governor House, The convocation honored 21 scholars with doctorates, 1,700 graduates, and 277 master’s degree recipients. Governor Tesori praised NED University for its contributions to higher education and noted the significance of the day for students and their families as graduates prepare to embark on their professional journeys. He highlighted the university’s role in enhancing Pakistan’s reputation and expressed pride in NED’s educational achievements, including its Thar campus, as evidence of the Sindh government’s commitment to affordable higher education. The governor also acknowledged the efforts of past and present members of the institution in maintaining NED University’s developmental trajectory over the past century.
