Sindh Governor Highlights JSMU’s Contributions and Urges Graduates to Propel Pakistan Forward


Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori, in his address at the fifth convocation of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), lauded the rapid growth and significant contributions of the university, particularly in nursing, patient care, and health promotion.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori expressed these views while congratulating the graduating students and their parents at the event. He emphasized that education is a valuable asset that ensures a brighter future not only for individuals but also for society, the country, and the nation. The Governor commended JSMU for its continuous achievements and development in medical and allied health sciences, assuring his full cooperation with the university’s administration.



Governor Tesori reflected on Pakistan’s challenges and potential, acknowledging the current economic difficulties but emphasizing the nation’s strengths, including a strong army and abundant resources. He encouraged the graduates to become self-reliant, contribute positively to society, and aspire to be good Pakistanis. Stressing the importance of unity and national identity, he urged the audience to question past leaders about their contributions to the country.



The Governor also underscored the significance of freedom and resilience in the face of adversity. He mentioned the plight of children in Gaza, drawing a parallel to the value of freedom in Pakistan. Tesori concluded his speech with a call to action for the graduates to commit to leading Pakistan to success in every field, underscoring the importance of collective effort and national pride in driving the country forward.
