Karachi: In a recent meeting at the Governor’s House, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri, who also serves as Chancellor, convened with NED University Vice Chancellor Professor Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi to deliberate on advancing higher education and updating the academic curriculum in the province.
According to Sindh Governor House, the discussions centered on the essential role of universities in training students and the importance of revising curricula to reflect contemporary needs. Governor Tesuri expressed the federation’s commitment to enhancing higher education within the region, emphasizing the critical need for curricula that align with modern demands.
Professor Lodhi informed the Governor about ongoing efforts at NED University to overhaul educational content, which includes the incorporation of modern IT courses under the Governor’s initiative. This collaboration aims to better equip young people with the skills necessary for today’s technological landscape.
