Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the government’s commitment to bolster innovation and education while speaking at the closing ceremony of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of Pakistan (IEEEP) Fair 2024, held at the Expo Center in Karachi. The event, which drew 250 delegates from 45 countries, showcased 35 stalls provided free of charge for students, highlighting the focus on educational development and international collaboration.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori addressed the gathering, which included notable figures such as Managing Director of Badr Expo, Slow Shinzohir Naseer, and Engineer Mohammad Naveed Akram Ansari, Chairman of IEEEP Karachi Center. The governor underscored the importance of education, referencing the Islamic injunction ‘Iqra’ to illustrate its foundational role in society. He also stressed the need to realize the visions of Pakistan’s founding fathers by adhering to the principles set out in the national anthem.
The success of the three-day IEEEP event was highlighted by Governor Tesori as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the organizers, including the team from Badr Expo Solutions. He lauded the event as indicative of the significant potential and promising future of engineering in Pakistan. The governor concluded his address by stating that fostering talent should be a top priority to ensure the nation’s progress and development.
