Sindh Governor Celebrates People’s Unity Day of Russia with Flag Hoisting and Fireworks

Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesuri, marked People’s Unity Day of Russia by raising the Pakistan-Russia flag at Karachi Press Club Chowk on November 1, accompanied by a grand display of fireworks. The event underscored the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia.

According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony was attended by the Russian Consul General, Mr. Andrey V. Fedorov, among others. Governor Tesuri expressed his congratulations to the Russian people and highlighted the symbolic hoisting of the flags as a testament to the growing ties between the two nations. He utilized this platform to comment on the current peaceful state in Pakistan and called upon both local and foreign investors to capitalize on the promising economic conditions. Citing the surge in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, which recently crossed the 91,000 mark, Tesuri praised the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff, General Hafiz Asim Munir, for their roles in safeguarding and stimulating the nation’s economy.
