Sindh Governor Announces Social and Educational Initiatives at The Noor Project Ceremony

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri highlighted the importance of community involvement in the development of the country during his address at The Noor Project event. He commended the organization’s efforts and detailed the government’s contributions to enhancing education and social welfare.

According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony featured speeches from the governor and notable figures such as Amjad Vitto, the founder of The Noor Project, and Honorary President Rear Admiral (Retd) Faisal Shah. Governor Tesuri expressed admiration for The Noor Project’s relentless work and its significant impact on society.

He shared personal reflections on his commitment to public service, which began on the significant day of 12th Rabi’ul Awwal. Since then, the governor has initiated various programs directly from the Governor’s House, including IT training for fifty thousand youths, who are now earning between 300 to 600 dollars monthly. Additionally, the governor’s office has distributed over six lakh ration bags, provided free laptops, and given 3500 motorbikes to street crime victims as part of a broader employment and aid scheme.
