Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan has announced a major provincial plantation campaign set to begin on August 1 as part of the Governor’s Initiative to combat climate change. This declaration was made during his meeting with a delegation from the Faizan Global Relief Foundation, led by CEO Haji Abdul Habib Attari.
According to Sindh Governor House, the campaign aims to address environmental challenges through increased tree planting efforts. The Governor emphasized the critical role of such initiatives at this time and confirmed the participation of the Faizan Global Relief Foundation in this extensive campaign. The meeting also covered topics on public welfare, religious teachings of Dawat-e-Islami, and various welfare activities. Furthermore, the delegation and the Governor discussed the foundation’s previous accomplishments, including the planting of three million saplings.
