Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tesuri, has declared the launch of a comprehensive tree planting campaign across the province starting August 1, with collaboration from the Faizan Global Relief Foundation.
According to Sindh Governor House, the announcement came during a meeting with a six-member delegation from the Faizan Global Relief Foundation, led by CEO Haji Abdul Habib Attari. The discussion covered various public welfare initiatives, including the religious teachings of Dawat-e-Islami and the upcoming tree planting efforts.
Governor Tesuri praised the foundation’s past efforts, noting that they had successfully planted three million saplings. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in aiding the needy, training youth, and promoting overall societal welfare. The campaign aims to engage various community sectors in enhancing the green cover of the province, aligning with broader environmental preservation goals.
