Sindh Governor Announces Launch of Medical App and Other Initiatives

Karachi, In a series of community-focused initiatives, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri announced the upcoming launch of a medical app designed to deliver healthcare services directly to residents’ homes. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the New Guinea Block at Kharadar General Hospital.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesuri outlined several key initiatives alongside the medical app, including a free breakfast program for 12,000 children and a new employment scheme that will provide funding to youths with viable business proposals. These measures aim to enhance health, nutrition, and economic opportunities across the region.

The Governor also addressed the urgent need for a Primary Education Commission and pledged to resolve infrastructural challenges faced by Kharadar General Hospital, such as traffic congestion, power outages, and water supply issues. He committed to engaging with relevant authorities to improve these conditions swiftly.

Further, Governor Tesuri highlighted the hospital’s commitment to providing free medical care to deserving patients, with plans to increase the free treatment capacity from 25% to 40% with additional funding. This approach aligns with the hospital’s long-standing mission to serve the community, a vision supported by historical visits from notable figures like Ms. Fatima Jinnah.

The event also included distribution of laptops and certificates to students, emphasizing the Governor’s focus on educational support. The ceremony concluded with Bashir Jan Muhammad presenting a commemorative shield to Governor Tesuri, marking the occasion.
