Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori alleged that the Indian intelligence agency, RAW, is funding disturbances in Balochistan, exacerbating the province’s security situation. During a press conference at the governor’s house, Tesori highlighted the unity of the Pakistani nation in the face of challenges and emphasized the importance of addressing the threats to national stability.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori connected recent events in Balochistan with historical national crises, such as the APS Peshawar attack, to illustrate the persistent threats to peace. He accused RAW of orchestrating these disturbances through financial support to local rioters, who he clarified are not representative of the Balochi people. The governor detailed that these disruptions come at a time when Pakistan is progressing towards economic development, attracting foreign investments that the alleged perpetrators aim to undermine.
Governor Tesori expressed his commitment to safeguarding economic projects and maintaining national solidarity against external threats. He mentioned that comprehensive measures are being taken to counteract the destabilizing efforts, including dialogues with discontented groups within Balochistan, while excluding interactions with those identified as terrorists. The governor also shared his recent interactions with local business leaders and a notable public appearance with athlete Arshad Nadeem to promote a positive image of peace and development in Pakistan.
