Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed law enforcement agencies to implement comprehensive security measures for the observance of Youm-e-Ali, Youm-e-Quds, and Juma-tul-Wida across the province. Over 22,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure safety during these religious events, with enhanced surveillance and traffic management plans in place.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the directives were issued during a high-level meeting at CM House, attended by key provincial ministers and senior officials. The meeting focused on reviewing the security, logistics, and surveillance strategies for the events scheduled on March 11 and March 13.

The plan includes the deployment of 22,304 police personnel across various regions, including Karachi, Hyderabad, and Larkana, among others. The personnel will be engaged in static duties, pickets, mobile patrols, and rapid response units. Additionally, law enforcement agencies will conduct intelligence-based operations and utilize advanced surveillance systems for monitoring.

The chief minister emphasized the importance of coordination among law enforcement agencies and directed the implementation of special traffic management plans. Efforts to promote religious harmony and ensure citizen safety were underscored as top priorities by the provincial government.
