Karachi: The Provincial Minister for Energy of Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, convened a meeting with representatives from Foundation Solar Energy Limited, a subsidiary of the Fauji Foundation, to discuss solar and green energy initiatives in the province. The meeting, attended by senior officials including Major General (Retd) Amjad Ahmad Butt and Brigadier Imran, focused on the development of solar parks and the solarization of government buildings.
Minister Shah assured the delegation of full cooperation from the Sindh Government for the implementation of these environmentally-friendly projects. The discussions highlighted the importance of transitioning to green energy to address environmental challenges and climate change impacts.
The Sindh Government is prioritizing the promotion of green energy, following directives from Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and has allocated resources to mitigate the province’s energy crisis. The meeting concluded with an exchange of traditional gifts, symbolizing mutual goodwill between the government and Foundation Solar Energy Limited.
