Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah highlighted the critical role of good governance in the success and sustainability of institutions during the 39th Corporate Excellence Awards organized by the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP).

According to Chief Minister Sindh, the event, held at a local hotel, recognized corporate excellence in Pakistan and brought together business leaders, awardees, and members of the corporate community. Shah emphasized that good governance, transparency, and honest decision-making are essential for building trust and contributing to economic growth. He lauded MAP’s four decades of efforts to set new standards for corporate governance and excellence in Pakistan’s business landscape.

The Chief Minister also called on the private sector to collaborate with the public sector to address challenges such as the economic crisis and climate change, stressing the importance of sustainability and adapting to the digital revolution. He congratulated the award recipients and commended their commitment to maintaining high standards of governance and innovation, reinforcing the value of corporate responsibility for national stability.
