Sindh Chief Minister Orders Enhanced Security and Preparations for Bhutto’s Death Anniversary in Larkana


Karachi, In preparation for the upcoming public gathering to observe the death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 14 at Garhi Khuda Bux, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed the Larkana administration to enhance security measures and improve traffic management.



According to Chief Minister Sindh, the number of walk-through gates at the Mazar will be increased from 40 to 56 to facilitate public access. The Chief Minister, presiding over a meeting with top officials at the CM House, stressed the importance of seamless traffic flow and robust security arrangements to ensure the safety and convenience of attendees. The meeting saw the participation of various ministers, the Chief Secretary, the IG Police, and other high-ranking officials, some of whom joined via video link.



The Chief Minister also focused on readiness for the expected thunderstorms, instructing local bodies to ensure the maintenance of drainage systems to prevent flooding. Furthermore, safety measures such as the removal of hazardous signboards and structural reinforcements were ordered to mitigate risks associated with severe weather.



In another directive, CM Shah expressed his condolences for the recent tragic deaths in various incidents across Sindh, including the loss of four children in a wall collapse and the killing of two army men in a terrorist operation. He has instructed relevant district officials to provide all necessary support to the affected families and to ensure public safety in light of recent violent events.
