Sindh Chief Minister Grants Fee Waiver to Palestinian Students Amid Crisis

Karachi, In a significant move, the Interim Chief Minister of Sindh, Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqar, has announced a fee waiver for Palestinian students studying in the province’s public institutions, responding to the hardship caused by the situation in Palestine.

According to Sindh CM House, the interim CM has directed Secretary U and B Noor Ahmed Samoon to ensure that all public universities in Sindh exempt Palestinian students from tuition and hostel fees, and also to facilitate scholarship opportunities. The directive comes as a gesture of solidarity with 48 Palestinian students currently enrolled in medical and engineering universities across Sindh. The Department of U and B has disseminated these instructions to all relevant public universities.
