Chandigarh, April 01, 2023 (PPI-OT):Police in Indian Punjab said that unknown persons attacked a Sikh preacher with sharp weapons and cut off his leg in Tarn Taran district. According to Kashmir Media Service, Senior Superintendent of Police Gurmeet Chauhan said that the Sikh preacher, identified as 32-year-old Chain Singh, was attacked in Khadur Sahib town the other night and the assailants managed to escape after the incident. He said the Sikh preacher was admitted to the hospital and underwent two surgeries. He said that he is now out of danger.
Sikh Chin Singh is employed in a gurdwara in Baniya village. His leg was brutally amputated and the assailants took his leg with them. The SSP said that the police have registered a case based on the statement of the family and the accused will be arrested soon.
