SIFC Partners with Saudi Company to Boost Livestock Sector

Islamabad, The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has entered into a strategic agreement with the Najd Gateway Holding Company of Saudi Arabia, aiming to enhance Pakistan’s livestock sector through the cultivation of alfalfa, a vital cattle fodder.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the agreement focuses on the cultivation of 5,000 acres dedicated to alfalfa, a crop known for its significant protein content and essential role in the diet of various livestock, including dairy cattle, beef, horses, sheep, and goats. This initiative not only aims to boost the livestock feed supply within Pakistan but also targets the export market, underlining the potential of Pakistani soil to produce high-quality livestock products.

The cultivation of alfalfa is recognized globally for its importance in the agriculture and livestock industries. Through this collaboration, SIFC and Najd Gateway Holding Company are poised to capitalize on Pakistan’s agricultural strengths, contributing to the growth and sustainability of its livestock sector.
