Khushab, The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has successfully resolved the issue of water supply for a Soda Ash manufacturing plant in the Khushab district by approving a 2.5 cusecs water allocation from the Muhajir branch canal.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the decision is set to bolster the Soda Ash industry and create employment opportunities within the local community. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to attract foreign investment and stimulate economic growth through enhanced public-private partnerships. The facilitation by the SIFC is not only reinforcing confidence among local investors but is also marking significant progress in the industrial sector.
The completion of this project is anticipated to be a critical milestone in the country’s industrial development, particularly in the production of glass, detergents, and various chemicals where Soda Ash is a key component.
