Sibi Hospital’s Oxygen Plant Development Halted for Quality Review

Sibi: In response to public complaints, Ali Asghar Magsi, the Additional Deputy Commissioner General of Sibi, visited the District Headquarters Hospital to inspect the ongoing development work of the oxygen plant’s connection corridors. The visit was carried out following directives from Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Jahanzeb Sheikh, to address concerns regarding the quality and safety of the construction work.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Magsi, accompanied by PS2 Commissioner Zeeshan Ahmed, halted the current development activities and established a technical committee to assess the work. The decision came after receiving multiple public grievances suggesting that the project did not meet standard construction protocols and overlooked necessary safety measures.

The newly formed technical team is tasked with conducting a thorough review of the ongoing work and will submit a report determining whether the development adheres to the established standards. Furthermore, Magsi has instructed the technical committee to identify and rectify any deficiencies found during their evaluation, ensuring that the project’s execution maintains high quality and safety standards.

This proactive approach underscores the local government’s commitment to transparency and quality in public health projects, especially in critical areas such as medical oxygen supply facilities.
