Srinagar, June 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): In a latest assault on social media activists by the Modi regime in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday conducted raids at many locations in four districts of the Kashmir valley. The raids were conducted in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama and Kupwara districts on the pretext of ‘anti-India propaganda’ being paddled through these platforms.
“Today on 20 June 2023, SIA successfully conducted searches at six locations across Kashmir in Kupwara, Anatnag (Islamabad), Pulwama, and Srinagar districts. The searches were carried out as part of an ongoing investigation in case …pertaining to misuse of social media platforms for unlawful and secessionist activities,” the SIA said. The pre-dawn raids were conducted by SIA in the name of uncovering the individuals and groups “involved in anti-India sentiments through various social media platforms”, it said. SIA sleuths seized mobile phones, sim cards, laptops and other digital gadgets during the raids.
