Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has voiced sorrow over a boat accident off the coast of Libya that resulted in the deaths of several Pakistanis.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister extended his condolences to the grieving families and offered prayers for the victims. He has called for an immediate report from the relevant authorities on the incident.
Sharif directed the Foreign Ministry to expedite the identification process of the deceased Pakistanis and to provide necessary support to those affected.
He emphasized that strict measures will be enforced against individuals involved in human trafficking, stating that negligence will not be tolerated. The government is committed to implementing strategies to combat human trafficking.
