Islamabad, February 16, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Shazia Marri has said ensuring peace and enabling environment in the country is a prerequisite to augment commercial activities. She was speaking at CEO Summit ‘Turn around Pakistan: Reshaping The Future of Pakistan” in Islamabad on Thursday.

She said there is a need to build a narrative against disinformation being propagated against the country and the government needs to play the lead role in building a progressive narrative. She said foreign investment is directly linked with the country’s security situation. The minister said the Benazir Income Support Programme supported flood victims with a cash amount of 25,000 rupees per family and urged the business community to join hands with the BISP in supporting nine million deserving families.
